Ingredients -
- 3/4 cup Warm Water (110° F)
- 1 envelope of Active Dry Yeast
- 2 cups (or more) All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon Table Salt
- 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preparation:
1. Add warm water to a small bowl. Sprinkle yeast over water. Stir lightly.
2. Cover bowl loosely and let stand at room temperature for about 5 minutes or per instructions.
3. Brush a separate large bowl lightly with olive oil.
4. Add all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt to the food processor. Stir in yeast mixture and olive oil.
5. Process until dough forms a sticky ball.
6. Lightly flour a flat surface. Knead dough until smooth, about 1 minute. Add tiny bits of flour if necessary to prevent the dough from sticking.
7. Transfer the dough to the prepared bowl.
8. Turn the dough in the bowl to coat it with oil.
9. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap.
10. Allow dough to rise at room temperature for about 1 hour. The dough should double in volume.
11. Punch down dough and use per recipe instructions.
