Cheesy dough topped with a mixture of sautéed ground beef and processed cheese> Pizza is baked in a hot oven for about 20 minutes. Hot pizza topped with shredded Colby-Monterrey jack cheese blend, and chopped Roma tomato.
Ingredients -
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup Processed Cheese Sauce
- 2 cups Bisquick Mix
- 1/4 cup Hot Water
- 1/4 cup Shredded Colby-Monterey Jack Cheese Blend
- 1 Plum (Roma) Tomato, chopped
Preparation:
- Turn the oven to 375 degrees and preheat.
- Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- Add the ground beef to a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat until done.
- Drain the excess liquid.
- Add 1/2 cup cheese sauce, stir well and set aside
- Add the bisquick mix, 1/4 cup cheese sauce, and hot water to a medium bowl and beat vigorously until a soft dough forms.
- Lightly sprinkle Bisquick on a clean work surface and turn out the dough.
- Shape the dough into a ball and knead until smooth, which takes about 5 times.
- Place the dough onto the prepared sheet and top with the beef mixture.
- Bake until the crust is golden brown, which takes about 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle the cheese and tomato on top and let stand 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
